Going Strawless

Since 2018, all of our hotels and resorts worldwide have stopped providing plastic straws. Going strawless is a group-wide initiative, and all of our food and beverage outlets have discontinued the use of plastic straws. As an environmentally-friendly alternative, biodegradable paper straws will only be provided upon request by our guests. This change is aimed at minimising our environmental impact and supporting our marine conservation efforts. Our ultimate goal is to prevent single-use plastic items from polluting our beaches and oceans.

Switching to Glass Bottles

At Berjaya Hotels & Resorts, we have embarked on a journey to create a greener and more sustainable future by progressively phasing out plastic bottles from our hotels and resorts. Instead, we now serve drinking water in reusable glass bottles in our rooms and food and beverage outlets. Environmental Conservation

Our hotels and resorts have been actively organising clean-up events to restore the beauty of our natural landscapes. This includes picking up litter and removing debris, both on land and in our oceans. Additionally, our island resorts have been organising clean-up days to raise awareness of marine conservation and highlight the importance of preserving our coral reefs. Through these initiatives, we have brought together a passionate community that shares a common goal: protecting and conserving our environment.
