RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and cook authentic Malay dishes, ensuring high quality and consistency.
- Develop new menu items that reflect the rich flavors and traditions of Malay cuisine.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
REQUIREMENT:
- Proven experience as a Malay Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Deep knowledge of Malay cuisine, including traditional recipes and modern interpretations.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
