RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets, both short-term and long-term.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate clients, group bookings, and partnerships with event planners, travel agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, industry partners, and key decision-makers.
- Identify and negotiate partnerships, affiliations, and collaborations that can enhance the hotel's business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to showcase the hotel's value proposition.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts and pricing agreements with clients and partners.
- Collaborate with revenue management teams to maximize room rates and occupancy levels.
- Maintain detailed records of business development activities, track progress against targets, and prepare regular reports for management.
- Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve objectives.
- Ensure excellent customer service for all clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, potential opportunities, and competitors' activities. Develop a deep understanding of the target market.
REQUIREMENT:
- A bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, marketing, or a related field is typically preferred.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development or sales roles, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Previous experience in the hospitality industry is highly beneficial.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the local language and English. Additional languages may be an advantage, especially in international markets.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to close deals effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of the hotel industry, market trends, and competition.
- A well-established network of potential clients, partners, and industry contacts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess market data and develop effective strategies.
- Experience in leading and motivating a team, with a collaborative and strategic leadership style.
- A strong drive to achieve and exceed business development and revenue targets.
