We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to lead and manage all procurement activities. The ideal candidate will oversee supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, ensure cost-effective purchasing, and manage the timely delivery of goods and services. This role is essential for maintaining inventory levels, ensuring product quality, and supporting the company's operational goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies and policies.
- Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to obtain the best value for the company.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and production teams to forecast demand.
- Ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, products, and services.
- Analyze purchasing trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery while resolving any supply chain or logistics issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement officers or buyers.
REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
