BERJAYA’S JOJO FLIGHT CELEBRATES MERDEKA MONTH WITH ITS 100TH LANDING ON REDANG ISLAND
In conjunction with the 63rd National Day of Malaysia, Berjaya Hotels & Resorts’ (“BHR”) Jojo Flight enlivened the celebration with its 100th landing on Redang Island.
KUALA LUMPUR, 2 January 2021 - In reference to the “Kluster Slot Berjaya” located in Lembah Pantai District as announced by the Ministry of Health on 30 December 2020, the Management of Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur wishes to clarify that it does not refer to any specific location within the premises of Berjaya Times Square Hotel nor the Berjaya Times Square Shopping Mall.
Hotel Manager of Berjaya Times Square Hotel, May Cheong@Nurul Hidayah, emphasized that Berjaya Times Square is not in the affected area and will remain open to welcome guests to the hotel with the highest standards of hygiene and regular deep sanitization as specified by the Malaysian Ministry of Health.
“We wish to reaffirm our guests and visitors to Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur and also the occupants of the service suites at Berjaya Times Square that their health and well-being is our utmost priority. Our staff remain vigilant at all times observing strict precautionary measures to provide a safe environment for our guests to patronize with a peace of mind,” the Hotel Manager added.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Berjaya Hotels & Resorts has implemented a number of preventive measures across all hotels and resorts to help contain the spread of the virus and ensure the safety and wellbeing of hotel employees and guests. These measures are as follows:
- Hotel Entrance - We provide separate entry and exit access way for our guests. At the main entrance of the hotel, guests’ body temperatures are taken and for record purposes. Hand sanitizers are provided at the entrance area too.
- Public Area - All public areas and high touch surfaces are disinfected frequently with dedicated cleaning tools to avoid cross-contamination.
- Health Declaration - All guests are required to fill in a Health Declaration Form or scan the MySejahtera QR Code.
- Check-In - In order to facilitate physical distancing of at least 1 metre apart, acrylic divider panels and floor markers are installed at the reception/front desk area.
- Employees - Our associates wear face masks, hand gloves and face shields at all times while on duty. To avoid physical contact, they practise right hand-over-heart gesture as a way to greet our guests.
- Elevator - Each elevator is limited to a maximum of 4 persons. Alternatively, guests are encouraged to use staircase whenever possible.
- Personal Hygiene - Face mask and hand sanitizers are available for our guests’ convenience.
